Notice

With the current COVID-19 crisis and the mandated limitations on Dental Services allowed to be performed in the state of Texas, Fort Worth Cosmetic & Family Dentistry offers several solutions for our patients or any patient not currently in our dental family who finds themselves in need of URGENT or EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE during this uncertain time.

Please keep in mind that these are not OUR restrictions. These are restrictions imposed by Governor Abbott in his mandate for all Texas counties as of Sunday March 22, 2020.

We understand your concerns about the coronavirus and have been closely monitoring the situation. Although this is an evolving situation with many unknowns, we are sure of one thing: we are doing our part to help keep our patients safe. FWFCD is always in compliance with all CDC and OSHA protocols for disease prevention and protection. Rest assured that we are always going above and beyond to disinfect and sterilize our clinical areas and clinical instruments.

  • Our office phone will be answered during normal business hours, and there will be a doctor on call after hours as usual. If you are a new or existing patient with a dental emergency, please call our office to schedule an appointment at 817-737-6601.
  • We are offering FaceTime or Google Duo video messaging to address concerns when a phone call just isn’t enough, or you and our team are unsure of the need for an office visit.  Please click the link to contact Dr. Green via email at dr.green@ngreendental.com.  She or another FWFCD team member will respond back at the earliest possible convenience to schedule your video consult.
  • Anyone who is looking for more general dental advice, is wanting a Free Virtual Consult, or who is just wanting to get started as a new patient of FWCFD can click here for our exclusive Free Virtual Consult. You will receive a video response from Dr. Green that addresses your specific concerns.
  • Last but not least, we ARE available for IN-OFFICE URGENT and EMERGENCY CARE once it has been determined that an office visit is necessary.

OTHER THINGS TO CONSIDER:

  • If you (or anyone in your household) have traveled outside the country or traveled anywhere over a level 1 restriction in the past 30 days, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
  • If you or anyone in your household has experienced cold/flu symptoms, a cough of unknown origin, shortness of breath, or a fever over 100F degrees in the past 72 hours, please call our office to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
  • We will be taking the temperatures of all patients upon entering the office. Anyone with a temperature over 99.5F degrees will be respectfully asked to reschedule.
  • Please do not bring others with you to your dental appointment. We are asking everyone to limit extra people to no more than one extra person when possible. If this is not possible, please contact our office to see if rescheduling is appropriate.
  • Last but not least, if you are part of our most vulnerable populations (70+ years of age, compromised immune system, underlying breathing and lung issues) or if you are merely uncomfortable moving forward with your dental appointment this week, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

FWFCD takes your overall health very seriously. We promise to continue practicing top-notch infection control and working to keep your experience safe.

Thank you for your patience as we maneuver through this crisis and the uncertainty that it creates. We are diligently working to ensure our patients get the attention and care they need during this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to get in touch with us at our office 817-737-6601.

Sincerely,

Your dental family
